ACO DrainPolymer Concrete Systems

The flagship ACO product line, ACO Drain is a modular polymer concrete trench drain system used globally for commercial and infrastructure applications. In the US the commercial range is sold as two families: KlassikDrain(K100 = 4", K200 = 8", K300 = 12") and the heavy-duty PowerDrain (S100K/S200K/S300K), spanning EN 1433 load classes A15 through F900.

ACO Drain FAQs

Common questions about the ACO Drain polymer concrete trench drain system

In the US the ACO Drain commercial range is sold as two families. KlassikDrain covers K100 (4" wide), K200 (8") and K300 (12"). PowerDrain is the heavy-duty range — S100K, S200K and S300K — with integrally cast ductile-iron edge rails. (MultiDrain, KerbDrain and RoadDrain are UK/infrastructure names; in the US those map to the ACO Infrastructure program.)

KlassikDrain (K100/KS100) uses galvanized steel or 304 stainless edge rails and is rated up to EN 1433 Class E for pedestrian-to-industrial commercial use. PowerDrain (S100K/S200K/S300K) uses integrally cast ductile-iron edge rails, is rated to EN 1433 Class F900, and is airport-airside proof-tested to 200,000 lb for the heaviest duty.

ACO Drain spans the full EN 1433 range — A15 (~3,372 lb, pedestrian) through F900 (~202,328 lb, airport aprons and ports) — and the US catalog cross-references AASHTO H-20/H-25 and HS-20/HS-25 loading. KlassikDrain reaches Class E600; PowerDrain reaches Class F900.

ACO Drain features a patented built-in continuous slope design that provides up to 130 ft (40m) of sloped channel in a single run. This eliminates the need for stepped installations and ensures optimal water flow to outlet points.

ACO Drain channels are manufactured from polymer concrete (also called resin concrete), which combines mineral aggregate with polymer resin binders. This material offers superior chemical resistance, high compressive strength, a smooth hydraulic bore, and excellent durability compared to traditional concrete.
